Webjet is inviting Australian citizens to “shout out loud and proud” to show off ‘their Australia’ in its new social media campaign.
The online travel agent says: “Australia had a devastating start to 2020, with many destinations that rely on international and domestic tourism impacted by the drop in visitor numbers as a result of bushfires and then travel restrictions. To encourage Aussies to start thinking about getting on-the-move once more, leading online travel agent Webjet.com.au is calling on everyone across the country to shout loud and proud and to show off ‘their Australia’.”
Boast about your favourite regional spot and ‘Show Us Your Australia’ – be it somewhere in your home state, or a place you’ve visited in the past. Share and you will be in with a chance to win a $1,000 Webjet eGift Card.
Entrants will have two options to get involved. Visual entries can be submitted through Instagram, using an original photo they have taken of their nominated location or place. All Instagram entries must tag Webjet (@webjet_au) and include the hashtag #ShowUsYourAus and #competition. Alternatively, entrants can visit the Webjet Facebook page and post their answer, in 25 words or less, to the question, “Why do you want to show off Your Australia to other travellers?”. These written responses can be submitted in the comments section of the pinned “Show Us Your Australia” post. Four winners will be selected from Instagram and four winners will be chosen from Facebook
