Virtuoso expands with strategic leadership shift

Virtuoso® has announced key leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its global operations and positioning for future growth.

As the organisation expands its worldwide influence, Virtuoso is re-aligning its executive structure to enhance product innovation and streamline operations across its nine geographical regions. Following the departure of Senior Executive Travis McElfresh, Virtuoso has taken the opportunity to reimagine its organisational strategy to ensure its offerings remain at the forefront of luxury travel.

In a move to unify its global product portfolio, Virtuoso has appointed Thatcher Brown as Senior Vice President of Global Products. The new Global Product division will now integrate consumer, digital, design, and network products, enabling a cohesive approach across the network. By consolidating product teams, Virtuoso aims to enhance synergy and efficiency, furthering its mission to deliver exceptional services to member agencies, advisors, and partners worldwide.

Brown brings a wealth of industry expertise, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer for Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, where he spearheaded strategic operations for Four Seasons Yachts. His extensive career in luxury hospitality includes executive roles with Explora Cruises, Dream Cruises, and Crystal Cruises Asia, where he focused on expanding brand presence and market share. Brown’s appointment marks a strategic investment in Virtuoso’s capacity to innovate and elevate the luxury travel experience.

Complementing this shift, Virtuoso veteran Jennifer Campbell has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Events. In her new role, Campbell will oversee a growing roster of events, with over 50 planned for 2025, designed to foster meaningful connections across the Virtuoso network. She will expand her team across each region, ensuring each event aligns with Virtuoso’s commitment to delivering value and building community.

Chief Operating Officer Brad Bourland commented, “Jennifer’s leadership has set the benchmark for Virtuoso events, and her strategic vision will be instrumental in meeting the increasing demand for exceptional, authentic experiences. Thatcher’s expertise in luxury product strategy aligns perfectly with our ambition to remain agile and responsive to the evolving needs of our global network.”

These changes underscore Virtuoso’s commitment to excellence and reinforce its leadership in luxury travel while ensuring the network remains a valued partner for agencies, advisors, and travellers.
