Viking has opened bookings on a selection of ocean cruises departing between September 2021 and May 2022, announcing the return of Viking Orion to her seasonal Sydney and Auckland home ports between December 2021 and March 2022 – her fourth consecutive season based down under.
Some of Viking’s most popular itineraries are now available to book, including the 23-day North Pacific Passage from Tokyo to Vancouver via Alaska & Russia, the 13-day Mediterranean Odyssey from Venice to Barcelona and the 13-day In Search of the Northern Lights sailing from Bergen to London.
Viking Orion will offer six 15-day Australia & New Zealand itineraries from Sydney to Auckland, book-ended at both ends of the season by the 17-day Komodo & The Australian Coast voyage between Sydney and Bali, before sailing a range of Asian itineraries. Plus she will continue to offer perennial Australian favourite, the 23-day North Pacific Passage, which recently hosted the largest ever contingent of Australians and New Zealanders on a Viking cruise.
Meanwhile Viking Jupiter, Viking Sky and the line’s newest ocean ship, Viking Venus – joining the fleet in early 2021 – will offer a selection of sailings in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, such as the 13-day In Search of the Northern Lights, 11-day Greek Odyssey from Athens to Athens, river/ocean combination cruises such as Rhine & Viking Shores & Fjords from Basel to Bergen and Quiet Season Mediterranean sailings such as the seven-night Journey to Antiquities from Rome to Athens.
Viking Jupiter will also operate trans-Atlantic sailings and the 18-day South America & the Chilean Fjords cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago.
