Viking has launched its inaugural 2022-23 Mississippi River e-brochure, showcasing Viking’s purpose-built ship, Viking Mississippi, and the four different itineraries on offer.
“Our brand-new digital brochure will have your clients tapping their toes to the rhythm of jazz, blues and folk, while dreaming of exploring the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the Civil War. Get ready to set sail on a journey that travels deep into the heart of America, on board the newest and most modern ship on the mighty Mississippi,” said Erin Kramer, Trade Marketing Manager, Viking ANZ.
The five-deck Viking Mississippi will feature cutting-edge design and Scandinavian-inspired spaces that Viking guests will know and love, such as the Explorers’ Lounge, the Living Room and an infinity plunge pool at the aft of the ship. Viking Mississippi will host 386 guests in 193 all-outside staterooms, with seven spacious stateroom categories to choose from.
Dining options will include The Restaurant, known for its ever-changing destination-inspired menu, as well as the River Café, a casual al fresco setting serving Mamsen’s Norwegian specialties.
When guests aren’t busy exploring on-shore with an included shore excursion at every port of call, they can enjoy Viking’s signature Cultural Curriculum delivered by destination and subject-matter experts, relax by the glass-backed infinity plunge pool or take in the sweeping views of their destination from the two-storey Explorer’s Lounge.
