SAA Australasian offices will be temporarily closed until 16 April 2020 and from 17 Apr – 31 May 2020, SAA Australia will be servicing trade customers with a skeleton staff.
As a result of the global COVID-19 situation, the President of South Africa has instructed the Republic of South Africa to lock-down for 21 days effective from 27 March through to 16 April 2020 inclusive.
Consequently, SAA Head Office and support systems to our Australasian offices will not be available therefore we must shut our offices across Australasia until 16 April 2020.
For travellers who have a partially used or unused ticket as a result of the COVID-19 circumstances, SAA will work with them to place that value into credit for future use by the same customer or they can transfer to another person.
This credit is for travel across 24 months up to and including 24 March 2022. SAA can resolve booking issues when we return to the office on 17 April 2020. Please contact them then.
