South Australia has changed its rules for visitors from “low and moderate-risk” LGAs including Sydney and Melbourne.
Travellers from those destinations are now required to produce a negative COVID-19 test, 72 hours before their intended arrival in South Australia.
Close contacts of anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the previous seven days will be denied entry into the state.
From 12.01 am 29 November 2021, Low Risk travellers must produce a negative COVID-19 test result received in 72 hours prior to arrival in SA and undergo a daily symptom check for 14 days after arrival using HealthCheck SA.
From 12.01am 29 November 2021, Moderate Risk travellers must produce a negative COVID-19 test result received in 72 hours prior to arrival in SA and have a COVID-19 test within 24 hours of arrival in SA. They must quarantine until the test is taken and undergo a daily symptom check for 14 days after arrival using HealthCheck SA.
International travellers to South Australia from any country must now quarantine for 14 days.
