PONANT recently launched its innovative ‘micro famil’ initiative, hosting a select group of Victorian and Cairns-based trade partners and clients aboard two of its luxury Explorer-class vessels in Cairns. The events, led by PONANT State Managers Annabelle Brown (Victoria and Tasmania) and Janelle Ramsey (Queensland and Northern Territory), took place on Saturday 9 November aboard Le Lapérouse and on Saturday 16 November aboard sister ship Le Soléal.
For the first time, a group of Victorian trade partners joined Far North Queensland’s Endeavour Travel and Cruise clients for this immersive experience. The initiative included a ship inspection, a fine dining experience, and an exclusive overnight stay aboard the ships, providing agents and valued clients an in-depth understanding of PONANT’s offerings.
Participants explored the luxury vessels and discovered pre- and post-cruise packages available in Cairns, fostering meaningful connections across state lines.
