Registrations now open for JNTO Roadshow
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will host a series of agent educational and networking events across Australia and New Zealand from 26 – 29 August, 2024, with registration now open.
Agents attending the events will enjoy a traditional martial arts demonstration of Karate while enjoying Japanese inspired cuisine and discovering more about the land of unlimited experiences and sensations.
Throughout the evening, agents will have three scheduled appointments lasting eight minutes each, which will be pre-assigned based on their registered interests, allowing them to learn and discuss directly with suppliers and destinations, with ample networking opportunities throughout to ensure that agents have the ability to connect with all attending suppliers.

Tourism Fiji and Qantas partner on limited time fare offer
Tourism Fiji has partnered with Qantas to offer return economy flights to Nadi from $548 per person.
Travellers can fly to Nadi from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to escape to paradise this winter.

Tahiti Tourisme’s new brand campaign
Tahiti Tourisme has launched a new global brand campaign called ‘Feel What We Feel Here’, resonating with the mindset of Mana, transporting viewers to The Islands of Tahiti, inviting them to experience the destination through the lens of its inhabitants.
In addition to the new campaign, Tahiti Tourisme has revamped its website, specifically aiming to better serve travel agents and operators and making it easier for consumers to connect with a Tahiti Specialist. Tourism operators can now upload their packages directly and travellers can send a request to Specialists level 1 and up (Specialists who have completed the training and logged at least one booking to The Islands of Tahiti).
‘Feel What We Feel Here’ is another step on the path to establishing The Islands of Tahiti as a leader in sustainable and inclusive tourism championing the preservation of local traditions alongside the unparalleled hospitality and distinctive vacation experiences sought after by discerning travellers worldwide.
Cruise with Disney – agent incentive
Cruiseco and Creative Cruising are partnering with Disney to offer a chance for agents to experience a magical cruise famil.

New Vietjet routes in China and South Korea
Vietjet has announced the commencement of two new routes, expanding its network in both South Korea and China. The new routes include Nha Trang-Daegu in South Korea and Ho Chi Minh City-Xi’an in China.
The new route connecting Vietnam’s coastal city of Nha Trang with Daegu, a major city located in southeastern South Korea, is scheduled to begin on 27 October 2024, with seven round-trip flights per week. Daegu, one of the largest cities in South Korea, offers numerous tourist attractions, while Nha Trang is known globally as the “Pearl of the East Sea,” famous for its pleasant tropical climate, rich culture, and diverse cuisine.
Vietjet is finally commencing its new route connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province in China on 1 July 2024. The route operates four round-trip flights weekly and aims to foster deeper cultural and economic ties between the two cities and neighbouring countries, bolstering regional connectivity with Vietjet’s flight network. Xi’an is known for its cultural treasures like the Qin Shi Huang mausoleum and its significance as the starting point of the legendary Silk Road.
