Travelmarvel Announces 4WD Journeys
Tour operator Travelmarvel has released its all-new Kimberley & Outback Queensland by 4WD 2023 holiday program. The launch includes a comprehensive range of small group 4WD journeys to remote locations in Travelmarvel’s custom designed 4WD vehicles accompanied by an expert driver-guide. Travelmarvel’s 4WD journeys cater to a maximum of just 20 guests, providing a personalised experience. Comfortable and convenient, the custom-built vehicles feature large, tinted windows for panoramic views, reclining seats, air-conditioning, protective bull bars for added safety and infotainment systems.
The program features five itineraries, ranging from seven to 12 days in length, with the option to extend the tour with Pre and Post Accommodation. All tours are available now on Travelmarvel’s website and in a dedicated brochure.
East Gippsland Winter Festival Returns
Running from 17 June to 10 July – and coinciding with the Winter Solstice and Victorian school holidays – the East Gippsland Winter Festival includes a feature-packed schedule of regional art displays and performances, live music, dining experiences, light shows, multimedia events and much more.
The full program of events for this year’s East Gippsland Winter Festival features more than 100+ spectacular events happening right across the East Gippsland region, the Festival Program is available now at www.egwinterfest.com.au. Bookings for ticketed events can also be made via the website, and Festival-goers are being urged to book early, as many of these events have limited capacity, and expected to sell out quickly.
Sunshine Coast serves up tasty new food festival
The Sunshine Coast’s renowned produce and restaurants will be showcased across the region in The Curated (side) Plate from 29 July to 7 August. Local restaurants, farms, tourism and event operators are combining to present 85 authentic events designed to provide visitors with a rich menu of options across the ten days.
The Curated Plate made its debut in 2019, showcasing local produce as curated by international, national and local chefs to food lovers and after a break the reimagined event is back in 2022. The Curated (side) Plate is a celebration of ‘local’ with a vast array of well-priced events from fine-dinners such as Harry’s on Buderim and Spicers Tamarind to great local producers including Montville Coffee and Sunshine Coast Cider. Personal Travel Managers Training Sessions
A total of forty-five personal travel managers (PTMs) attended TravelManagers’ most recent training sessions, which were held in Perth and Sydney during May. The two full-day sessions, which were run by TravelManagers’ Operations Manager, Troy Coelho, included systems updates, fares training and an in-depth look at SigNet (Signature Travel Network’s intranet).
TravelManagers has been in partnership with Signature Travel Network since the beginning of 2022, with PTMs enthusiastically accessing the extensive programs and supplier connections that this agreement has provided. Regular training on products and systems are a key component of the partnership, which on this occasion included a deep dive into Signature’s Hotel & Resort program and a chance to view marketing videos and images, and training webinars.
