Jean-Marc Mocellin has been appointed as Tahiti Tourisme’s new CEO, officially taking office on 6 April 2020.
Mocellin’s mission is to lead the group and, alongside the industry partners, establish a promotion strategy under French Polynesia’s strategy for tourism development. He had previously spent 23 years working in Tahiti as part of the Beachcomber group, known today as InterContinental Resort Tahiti.
Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, Mocellin has commenced his role remotely and has not been able to come back to the fenua to physically take office. Currently in Nouméa, where he has most recently been working as New Caledonia Tourism’s CEO for 3 years, he will transfer to The Islands of Tahiti as soon as flight connections become available again.
