A free photographic exhibition celebrating hop-hop culture, including over 120 world and unedited contact sheets from more than 60 photographers, is a must-see for Aussies visiting Los Angeles from now until 18 August 2019.
Curated by journalist Vikki Tobak, the Annenberg Space for Photography presents CONTACT HIGH: A Visual History of Hip-Hop, featuring photos of artists including Run-DMC, Notorious B.I.G, Kendrick Lamar, Salt-N-Pepa, and Jay-Z, along with rare videos, memorabilia and music to illustrate the way in which the cultural phenomenon of hip-hop has impacted politics, culture and social movements around the world.
