Some of IHG’s most iconic Aussie hotels and resorts have now re-opened – including InterContinental Hayman Island Resort (1 Sept) and the opening of the new Crowne Plaza Hobart (1 July) – and IHG has launched its newest campaign to support domestic recovery and encourage staycation and self-drive experiences across the country.
‘There’s More for You’ follows the success of ‘There’s More to See’ – shifting gears to encourage travellers to take the slow road with stay & save offers. With up to 35% off, the slow road is an affordable one to explore the coastal walks of Coogee, the wineries of the Hunter, or sand flat tours on Hayman Island.
These offers include:
- Stay Longer and Save: guests receive up to 35% off when they book three nights or more, including complimentary breakfast daily and 20% of the hotel’s restaurant and bars
- Breakfast & Parking on Us: ideal for self-drive travels, guests will receive complimentary daily parking and daily breakfast for two with their stay
The campaign is now live and valid for bookings made until 31 October 2020, with stay dates 3 September to 31 March 2021. All offers are available for bookings made direct and via OTAs.
IHG has also recently updated its cancellation policy:
For bookings made from April 6 to September 30: Any non-refundable/pre-paid bookings for arrivals up to and including September 30, can be cancelled without penalty (up to 24 hours before arrival) up until September 30, 2020
All reservations made from October 1, 2020 will be subject to the terms and conditions of the rate booked
