A daring South Australian team of Helloworld Travel agents is currently taking part in the Variety Bash to support the children’s charity, Variety, in a vehicle named ‘BB1’. The Bash is neither a race or a rally, rather, it is a madcap event designed to put the fun into fundraising for the kids of South Australia who really need it.
Julie Kite – Owner/Manager of Helloworld Travel Marion and Robyn Buteyn – Owner Helloworld Travel Brighton, alongside their crew Lauryn Weatherall – a 22 year veteran of the bash, and Lyn Townsend departed from the Codan premises at Mawson Lakes this weekend alongside other teams, and will be finishing on 17th August in Murray Bridge, having traversed tracks and countryside that many people would never have the opportunity to experience. The team has already raised over $22,000 for Variety.
