Locals might recognise Mysa as the old ‘Palm Trees Motel’. Keeping that palm tree theme, it has been artfully restored and refurbished by local husband-and-wife-duo Eliza and Jason.
Just 11 minutes drive from Gold Coast Airport and located in burgeoning Palm Beach, Mysa is positioned in a prime Gold Coast spot. A quick stroll down the road and you will find long stretches of white sand beaches, turquoise waters and world-famous surf breaks. However, you don’t even need to leave the motel as there is a palm-fringed magnesium pool, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon or reading a book in the sun.
Mysa has kept elements of the original building and quintessential motel vibe and merged them with modern wellness. Instagram worthy to say the least, Mysa is a seven-room oasis with serious aesthetic appeal, passive design and an incredibly easy-to-use self-service check-in.
Sustainability has been key when not only restoring Mysa, using recycled local items from pre-existing properties on the Gold Coast, but also with the guest experience. In the rooms are re-fillable bathroom amenities, and recycling bins and guests are encouraged to re-use their towels. The rooms have filtered water so you can fill your water bottles and ditch the pesky plastic.

Mysa is a self-service motel and check-in is done via email, where you will receive a unique pin code for your room and on-site parking.
