On 1 May 2020, the doors will open to a wellness welcome, in a new two-storey building, seemingly suspended over water, at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay.
Newly upgraded, The Healing Village Spa is now 70 per cent bigger than before at 2,000 square metres, and fuses ancient wisdom with modern awareness in revolutionary healing treatments that combine light, sound, thermal and colour therapy.
“The seven healing attributes are woven into the tapestry of the new Healing Village Spa,” comments Regional Director of Spa, Luisa Anderson. “We feel blessed to have such strong cultural and community connections, from our team of local healers who bring their loving presence to each treatment, to the traditional influences and home-grown ingredients. By uniting cultural elements with the latest in emerging science, we are able to offer truly transformational experiences in one of the island’s most dynamic wellness hubs.”
The reinvented Healing Village Spa is home to 10 all-suite treatment rooms, including six double rooms for couples complete with a private outdoor relaxation area, outdoor bathtub and shower. The first of its kind in Bali, the Illume Room features a heated quartz-sand bed for inversion therapy and surround sound original music, and The Longevity Garden comes with private steam room amid tropical gardens. Products from ISUN – a dynamic skincare brand committed to a ‘quantum healing effect’ – draw on wild-crafted, organic ingredients infused with the power of gemstones.
On The Healing Village Spa’s upper level, beautiful ocean views and state-of-the-art equipment inspire a work-out at the Fitness Centre with the Resort’s personal trainers. The wellness programme also includes innovative yoga and meditation sessions daily, not to mention a year-round calendar of visiting practitioners: a rare opportunity to experience one-to-one therapies from Reiki and Clairsentience to Aura-Soma Colour Therapy with some of the globe’s leading experts.
The island’s new wellness destination also features the only Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa in South-East Asia – an exciting opening by the world’s leading hair care expert, whose luxury salons extend from Milan and Mumbai to New York, London and Dubai. The Italian celebrity stylist will cater for both local residents as well as visitors to Bali, offering unique access to the Ferretti Method: a highly personalised approach that works with the natural fall of a client’s hair and facial contours.
