The Globus family of brands, which includes Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways has responded to growing fears regarding the spread of coronavirus, by introducing a temporary policy update for 2020 travel that enables travellers and their travel advisors to adjust travel plans to help alleviate their immediate concerns, related to upcoming or future trips.
For the moment, all of the Globus family’s tours, cruises and independent holiday packages are operating as scheduled, with the exception of mainland China.
Until further notice, the following is applicable:
- For travellers with existing bookings and for new bookings, deposits on future Globus tours can be moved to any other brand (Globus, Cosmos, Monograms or Avalon Waterways), destination or itinerary in 2020 or 2021 without penalty* prior to final payment
- Globus is allowing guests departing on any holiday that includes Italy, on any date, to move their tour to a future date without penalties*
- Globus is temporarily waiving cancellation penalties** until 30 days prior to departure
