Contiki Holidays has launched five brand new trips to Patagonia and Colombia and 13 improved trips across Latin America in their latest product release for the region for 2020. Travellers can also secure a 10% early payment discount until 19 June 2019.
The new itineraries include a boat safari through Patagonia’s iconic Perito Moreno Glacier fields, a hike through the wilderness of Torres del Paine and optional Ice Climbing at Los Glaciares National Park; while in Colombia, travellers can jump-start their adrenaline with paragliding or white water rafting in San Gil, trek to the ‘Lost City’ of Ciudad Perdida, and camp overnight on the pristine coastline of Tayrona National Park.
Patagonia is widely considered to be one of the last great ancient and untamed habitable parts of the world remaining, and arguably the closest to unexplored glacial wilderness outside of Antarctica.
Colombia, an under-represented tourist destination for many years, is now being revealed as a biodiverse, culturally rich, and relatively unspoilt corner of Latin America.
The addition of these two new destinations means further expanding the impressive number of trekking and hiking experiences available across Contiki’s 32 total trips available in Latin America, which includes access and locally guided tours through more than 10 iconic National Parks, Reserves and protected land areas throughout the region.
