Thirteen travellers set off from Hobart last Friday (4 December 2020) on Bunnik Tours’ first domestic tour, a 14-day small group adventure in Tassie.
In just a few days, the group has already explored the state’s capital and its surrounds, including Mt. Field National Park and Bruny Island, and visited Port Arthur, continuing this week through Bicheno, Launceston, Smithton and Strahan.
“We’ve been showcasing the world to our travellers for years now, so we’re excited to be using our small group tour expertise to showcase Australia to our travellers,” said Dennis Bunnik, Joint-CEO.
“Our domestic tours still encompass everything that our travellers know and love about Bunnik Tours, with special experiences a key focus to connect our travellers with the local people and culture. Our group in Tasmania at the moment have enjoyed cheese tasting on Bruny Island and have a couple of other special experiences to look forward to, including a ride on the famous Rack and Gorge railway.”
Due to high demand, three new dates for 2021 have been added for the 14-day Tasmania In Depth tour and are selling quickly. Bunnik’s domestic tours have no more than 20 travellers and include all sightseeing, accommodation, many meals and more.
