The acquisition of 50 per cent of travel company Insight Australia Travel by Australian Geographic Travel Australian Geographic acquires 50% of Insight Australia Travel to launch Australian Geographic has ushered in the launch of Australian Geographic Travel, a small group tour company covering Aussie destinations across the country.
Insight Australia Travel has been operating for almost 20 years curating and delivering bespoke Australian itineraries. Founder and Managing Director of Insight Australia Travel, Birgit Bourne, will also head up Australian Geographic Travel. With a deep passion for Australian landscapes, wildlife, Aboriginal culture, conservation and sustainability, Birgit is a keen photographer, hiker, outdoors and nature lover and sits on the board of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC).
Australian Geographic travellers will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes, bird watching, hiking and active wildlife conservation projects, all whilst enjoying authentic and supportive interactions with local people and Australia’s ancient First Nations culture.
