Hilton has launched its Big Dreams, Big Savings campaign to encourage Aussies to holiday with 30% offers for Hilton Honors members and 25% off rates for non-members when they book direct with Hilton at hotels across Australia.
Big Dreams, Big Savings is a 14-day campaign, with bookings live from 7pm (AEDT) last night (23 November) to 7 December, with stays taking place between 26 November 2020 and 30 June 2021. There are 11 participating Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton properties across Australia.
Hilton’s Big Dreams, Big Savings campaign was launched off the back of new research* commissioned by Hilton, which revealed travel is the most frequently recalled happy memory, with nearly two-thirds of respondents saying they plan to create memories with family and friends as soon as they are able.
The research shows that nearly 9 in 10 travellers say travel memories are some of the happiest of their lives, while 95% of survey respondents who travel are missing travel right now and 90% of survey respondents believing we are currently experiencing a travel memory deficit.
For 91% of those surveyed who travel, hotel experiences are often a memorable part of their travel, and more than one in four stay at the same lodging accommodations to keep their travel memories alive. Nearly all travellers surveyed (94%) plan to travel again once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, with 66% saying they will quit putting off “bucket list” holidays in the future.
“… with travel slowly starting to resume domestically in our region, we can finally begin to move away from dreaming and begin to plan a holiday. Big Dreams, Big Savings has been created to help Australian travellers unlock the possibility of travel once again and create new travel memories, which we know, are so valued,” said Heidi Kunkel, vice-president-operations, Hilton Australasia. “We remain confident and optimistic that travel will return and Hilton will be ready to welcome guests safely and securely with the highest standards of health and hygiene.”
Rates in Australia begin at $158 per night, and participating properties include Hilton Cairns, Hilton Brisbane, Hilton Darwin, DoubleTree by Hilton Perth – Northbridge, West Hotel Sydney, Curio Collection by Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street.
Reservations are required to be made a minimum of three days in advance, with no cancellations, refunds or date changes are allowed up until 72 hours before arrival.
