PONANT’s done it again! A group of travel partners from the Asia Pacific region are currently exploring the North Pole area onboard Le Commandant Charcot, the world’s only luxury icebreaker.
Hosted by PONANT’s Victoria and Tasmania Territory Manager, Annabelle Brown they reached the Geographic North Pole on 1 October after leaving Longyearbyen Spitsbergen on 26 September.
They celebrated with a polar plunge and Champagne with Captain Patrick Marchesseau followed by a cocktail party on the ice. The group then explored the Northeast Greenland National Park before arriving at Reykjavik Iceland.
