UTracks has announced three new walks in the UK for 2020.
The Thames Path East commences from the rowing capital Henley-on-Thames to time keeper Greenwich via notable places as Marlow, Eton, Windsor and London. The 130 kilometre self guided walk takes nine days with stops at Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court and the Tower of London. Priced from $1790 per person twin share, the tour launches on 28 March 2020.
Walk from the elegant market town of Chipping Campden to the historic city of Bath through a patchwork of gentle rolling hills, dotted with picture-postcard villages and rustic old pubs (perfect for leisurely dinners!) on this new trip, Cotswold Way. The Cotswolds is one of the most quintessentially English parts of the country and Britain’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a wealth of castles, manor houses, abbeys and Roman villas, it is one of the very few places in the UK where you can encounter remnants of Neolithic (Stone Age), Iron Age, Roman, Anglo-Saxon, Norman, Tudor, English Civil War and the Industrial Revolution history, all concentrated in such a small area – and sometimes all in one day of walking! Scotland’s Great Glen Way stretches 120 kilometres from Fort William on the west coast to the highland’s capital, Inverness on the east coast.
