Dressed in ballgowns, Carnival Cruise Line’s Cruise Directors Lee Mason (Carnival Splendor) and Chloe Loddo (Carnival Spirit) took the plunge down the Green Lightning and Green Thunder waterslides, to challenge guests to help raise money for the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

Undertaken in the spirit of fun and mateship by all, passengers onboard both ships were able to raise an amazing $15,200.

Earlier this week Carnival Cruise Line, in partnership with sister brands (P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, Cunard, and Holland America Line), pledged $350,000 to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal to support those communities affected by the bushfire crisis.
Carnival will continue to facilitate fundraising from guests in the coming weeks through onboard donations.
