Helloworld Travel employees recently took part in the annual Balmoral Burn in Sydney, in support of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
As a proud corporate partner of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, the Helloworld Travel team tested their abilities, taking on the ‘hill of hurt’ that is Awaba Street, one of the steepest streets in Sydney on Sunday 26 May.
The annual run up the Awaba Street 420m course in Mosman was supported by various other events and activities across the weekend which raised over $2m for much needed lifesaving medical equipment for children’s wards in Australian hospitals, making a huge difference to thousands of sick and injured children.
The team, captained by Mark Brownlee – Commercial Analyst at Helloworld Travel Limited, jumped at the chance to be involved in the charity event. Three of whom were returning runners from the 2018 team, taking on the challenge to better their times from the previous year, and to help raise awareness for the cause within their own networks.
