We are excited to announce that Travel Monitor has a new owner, Kate Webster, under the company Captured Travel Media Pty Ltd.
Kate has worked with Travel Monitor for the past 8 years as a travel journalist, and seen the publication develop and grow over that time. Kate comes with over 20 years of industry experience, working in roles such as travel consulting, airline reservations, wholesaler reservations, corporate travel and the past 12 years as a travel journalist and editor. So her experience and knowledge in the industry are extensive, and she knows what it is like to be sat in the role of Travel Monitor’s readers.
Joining Kate as the publisher and editor is Sarah Clements, who has stepped into the role of Sales Manager. Sarah has previously worked in the travel industry and has returned after starting a family.
Travel Monitor has been delivering the First News of the Day to the travel industry since 2009 and continues the tradition of only engaging experienced writers, editors, and other professionals to source and create Travel Monitor content. With ownership change comes a fresh new website and e-newsletter designed to specifically target the travel industry’s needs.
