Perth Airport has announced a landmark partnership with Australia’s largest hotel operator, Accor, to open the airport’s first onsite hotel under the prestigious Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand.
The new Pullman Perth Airport, set to debut in 2027, will be a premium facility featuring 240 rooms and suites across eight floors, alongside a rooftop restaurant, bar, lobby lounge café, gym, sauna, meeting spaces, and co-working facilities.
A Milestone in Perth Airport’s Development
The announcement follows Perth Airport’s recent $5 billion capital investment program, the largest private infrastructure development in Perth’s history. Dan Sweet, Chief Property Officer at Perth Airport, highlighted the benefits of the collaboration with Accor. “We are delighted to be partnering with world-leading hospitality group, Accor, to deliver our first hotel. The new Pullman Perth Airport hotel will be a world-class facility located at the front door to our major terminals,” he said. “It will offer convenience and comfort for both international and interstate visitors, providing a place to stay and relax during connections.”
Accor’s Pullman brand is renowned for high-end hospitality, and the new Perth location will join an established network of Pullman airport hotels, including those in Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland.
Elevating the Airport Precinct
Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Accor Pacific’s PM&E Division, noted that this expansion underscores the evolution of airport precincts into significant commercial and service hubs. “We are thrilled to partner with Perth Airport to deliver Pullman Perth Airport,” he said. “Given the hotel’s unrivalled location and exceptional facilities, we anticipate strong interest and demand from both business and leisure travellers alike.”
As the largest operator of airport hotels in the Pacific, Accor now has 22 airport properties under its portfolio, cementing its position as a leader in this growing sector.
Design Inspired by Western Australia’s Landscape
The architecture of Pullman Perth Airport, led by DKO Architecture, will take inspiration from Western Australia’s distinct landscapes, using materials and forms that reflect the region’s natural beauty. This design focus aims to offer guests a warm and memorable welcome, emphasising Perth’s unique local character.
With over 20 Pullman hotels and resorts across Australia and New Zealand, Accor’s Pullman brand continues to expand as the largest premium brand in the region. The Pullman Perth Airport will join an impressive roster of Pullman airport hotels, offering elevated experiences to travellers passing through Perth Airport’s terminals.
