Tickets are on sale now for the Travel Industry night of nights, the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) 2022 and the industry is urged to get in quick as tickets are sold on a first-come, first serve basis.
There are a few changes to this year’s NTIA at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 15 October, which promises to be bigger and better than ever. ATAS accredited members and AFTA allied members will enjoy discounted tickets at $220 ex GST or $2200 ex GST for a table of 10
Industry suppliers and stakeholders can access tickets at $260 ex GST or $2600 ex GST for a table of 10. If you’re buying a table, you don’t need to provide attendees’ names at the time of purchase.
Singapore Airlines is the major sponsor for NTIA which will see the entire event take place in the ICC’s Grand Ballroom. AFTA CEO Dean Long said, “based on the volume of inquiries already, we expect tickets and tables to sell very quickly so to avoid disappointment, please get in early for NTIA 2022.”
“NTIA 2022 is going to be a little different in a number of areas to allow for the optimum mix of awards presentations, dinner and post-dinner entertainment, dancing and networking. This year, the entire celebration will be in the ICC’s Grand Ballroom.”
“We have made the decision not to have an after party this year in line with the financial reality of the Travel Sector.”
“The opportunity to all be together to celebrate the wonderful people and businesses in Australia’s Travel Sector is one we know members and suppliers are looking forward to and we are grateful for the ongoing support and especially that of our major sponsor, Singapore Airlines.”
Singapore Airlines General Manager Agency Sales Greg McJarrow responded by saying “Singapore Airlines is delighted to be the major sponsor for AFTA’S 2022 National Travel Industry Awards.”
“The challenges of the past two years have been unfathomable, and to have the opportunity to support AFTA with the return of NTIA was an easy decision and is something we are incredibly proud to be able to do.”
“As the industry continues on the long path of recovery, it is exciting to be able to come together and celebrate the resilience of the Australian travel industry.”
“Just as we have done for the past 55 years, Singapore Airlines stands with the travel trade as we navigate the path of recovery, having worked hand-in-hand over the past two years to ensure Australians were able to remain connected to loved ones.”
“We look forward with excitement to 15 October and thank AFTA for the opportunity to be a part of what will be a fantastic celebration of our industry’s resilience and determination,” Greg McJarrow said.
