Hurtigruten Expeditions and Australian Geographic Society have collaborated to bring together two journeys in 2022 – the white desert continent of Antarctica and the diverse wildlife sanctuary of the Galapagos Islands.
“We’re very excited to collaborate with an organisation who share Hurtigruten Expeditions’ ethos of preserving the pristine destinations and cultures we visit,” said Damian Perry, Hurtigruten Expeditions’ managing director, Asia-Pacific. “These journeys will allow guests to travel with Australian Geographic hosts who will share their passion for conservation, adventure and community. We’ve designed additional inclusions for Australian Geographic guests to further enhance their journey.”
The Australian Geographic Society is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting scientific research, protecting and fostering a love for the environment and natural heritage.
Travellers from Australia and New Zealand joining these journeys will receive additional inclusions and exclusives, such as extra lectures with their hosts, onboard credits, an Australian Geographic welcome pack and membership to the Hurtigruten Ambassador program and all associated benefits of membership, including a 5% discount on their cabin.
