Providing there are no COVID-19 outbreaks in NSW or Victoria in the lead-up, Western Australia has announced its border will re-open to both states on 8 December 2020, just ahead of Christmas and the summer school holidays.
Visitors from NSW and Victoria will not be required to quarantine but will be subjected to health screens and temperature checks on arrival in WA.
