Voyager of the Seas will be making her maiden call into Port of Eden, Twofold Bay, on the NSW South Coast at 10:00 am today – Tuesday 18 February 2020. The call by Voyager of the Seas is made possible following the New South Wales State Government’s $44M investment in cruise facilities, a major projected completed in 2019.
3600 excited guests will help enhance the region’s economic recovery, following the devastating summer bushfires.
“The people of Eden and surrounding communities have been deeply impacted by the recent bushfire crisis and as a region that relies heavily on tourism we wanted to support the message that Eden is open for business,” says Gavin Smith, Managing Director for Royal Caribbean International Australia and New Zealand.
“At Royal Caribbean, we band together not just in good times, but also in challenging times and have a strong history of support and solidarity for communities, our guests, our valued travel partners and employees in times of hardship.”
